Ancestral Tongue

Ancestral Tongue, a multicultural ensemble from Liberty, TN, presents original compositions that weave Filipino storytelling with layered instrumentation. Featuring pianist‑vocalist Roqué Marcelo, guitarist Andrew Weitze, drummer Joe Allen, and bassist/mandolinist Maxzine, the group delivers a rich tapestry of rhythm and melody at AllGood Cafe. Their performance invites listeners to explore themes of identity and empowerment in a setting that feels both global and intimately local.
